Annual Parent & Student Rights Notification and Standards of Behavior Handbook
This annual handbook outlines important rights, responsibilities, and expectations for students and families. It includes required legal notifications, district policies, and behavior standards that apply to all students. Topics covered include attendance, discipline, non-discrimination policies, privacy rights, health and safety regulations, and procedures for resolving concerns. Infinite Campus Annual Update
The Annual Update is completed annually by all SCUSD families to ensure the district has the most up-to-date information listed in Infinite Campus. This process is intended to improve efficiency and accuracy in updating important household information on a regular basis.
This annual review will require parent/guardians to review that their contact information, mailing address, and student health information is accurate and make changes when necessary. It will also require parent/guardians to review and sign annual notices required every year.
The Annual Update is accessed through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you do not have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account, request an activation key from your student’s school office to create an account.

ParentSquare
Sacramento City Unified uses ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.
