CANVAS
Canvas is the Learning Management System (LMS) used by Sacramento New Technology Early College High School.
Canvas provides students, teachers, and families with a central place to access courses, assignments, learning resources, grades, announcements, and other important class information.As an Early College High School, we use Canvas to support both our high school and college-focused learning environment. Students use Canvas throughout the school year to stay organized, access their coursework, submit assignments, receive feedback, and monitor their academic progress. Students should check Canvas regularly for important information from their teachers, including:
- Course materials and resources
- Assignments and due dates
- Projects and assessments
- Teacher announcements
- Feedback and grades
- Course calendars and schedules
- Other information related to their classes
Students are encouraged to make Canvas part of their daily school routine and to check each course regularly for updates and new assignments.

Canvas for Parents & Families
Parents and guardians can use Canvas to stay informed about their student's coursework and academic progress. If you are a parent or guardian and would like assistance understanding or accessing Canvas, please contact the school. We are happy to help you become familiar with the platform and the resources available to families.
