Adam Meek
RSP Teacher/Case Manager

Profile

Born in the arid lowlands of California near the Mexican border, Mr. Meek is the product of two loving teachers. He moved to five different cities throughout California during the next 17 years before graduating from Rio Americano H.S. where he was named MVP of the San-Joaquin section championship basketball team. He then matriculated to American River College and CSUS, Sacramento, earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Soon after, Mr. Meek embarked on an educational career and pursuit of lifelong learning spanning different countries and continents. He taught general and special education from the kindergarten level through the first year of university and concluded his overseas tenure as Foreign Director of Curriculum for a private international school. Eventually earning a Master’s degree in Cross-Cultural instruction, with distinction, he found his true calling in special education where Mr. Meek continues to help advocate for students who sometimes need the most assistance. Entering his third year at New Tech, Mr. Meek is looking forward to helping all students achieve academic and social success by learning self-advocacy and time management.
