Sunday Night Howl
Weekly Announcements sent every Sunday Night at 6pm

Good Evening New Tech Students and Families.  This is Principal Martin with your Sunday Night Howl.

Thank you to everyone who attended our PTSA General Meeting last week Thursday.  Our PTSA is such a huge part of our school community and a great support system for our students and staff.  If you haven’t joined the PTSA yet, we encourage you to do so.  It’s $11 for the year if you join using our online system and $10 if you bring cash to the school.  All parents and all students can join the PTSA.

At the end of this month, you will be getting an email from me with your total parent participation hours contributed so far.  As a reminder, we are asking every family to contribute 40 hours or more of participation time.  There are several ways you can earn time.  Please see our participation form which also contains a menu of different ways you can contribute.  The form is on our school website:

We are getting near the end of our first semester in our block classes.  Finals will be on October 7th and 8th which are also minimum days.  The grades students earn in their block classes will be posted on their transcripts.  Please be sure you are checking their grades on Echo and having conversations about their progress.  If you have questions about a grade or progress in a class, please be sure to contact the teachers.  We are here to help all of our students be successful in school.  If you need a parent account for Echo, please contact me and I will get you set up.

The Monthly School Newsletter for October will be published at the end of this week.  If you have not yet subscribed, please be sure to do so before October 1st so the newsletter will be delivered straight to your email inbox.  We have a couple noteworthy events happening in October that you don’t want to miss.

Lastly, Mocktails with Martin is tomorrow at 6:30pm on Zoom.  The flier for the meeting along with the zoom link can be found on our school website:

This month’s themed beverage is the Lemon Blackberry Mocktail.  The recipe is on the flyer.  We will be talking about our COVID-19 protocols and safety on campus.  Bring your questions and I will do my best to answer them.

This will conclude your announcements for the week of September 26th through October 1st.  We are officially in the fall season and looking forward to some cooler weather.  Study hard, complete your assignments and always remember, we are the Mighty Timberwolves.
